The Band officially kicked off 2005 with their annual Curry evening and Award Ceremony at the
Monsoon Tandoori in Slaithwaite on Sunday 23rd January

	Bruce Jones was yet again rewarded for his hard work and collected the Bandsman of the Year trophy
The band chose JJ Lees as their player of the year for his fantastic efforts as the bands Principal cornet
	The Bands musical director Ian Porthouse gave his own Player of the Year award to Steven Williams, the bands principal Baritone (in fetching pink jumper)
